There are several budgeting strategies and pricing models for charging for services:
- Hourly.
- Per project.
- By commissions / objectives
- Value-based.
- Etc.
Each has its pros and cons.
In fact, we could give dozens of different options and ideas for pricing per render, with modeling, without modeling, with urgency, by type of company, if you do it with 3D Max, with Sketchup, etc...
But you know that the problem is usually the client's target budget.

That's why I'm going to make it easy for you, so you can focus on what's really important:
) PRICE PER IMAGE
This would be the most common modality for small scale projects or projects that do not require a large volume of images or services.
As with everything else, when a specialized service is requested and in small quantities, the cost tends to be higher on average.
For example, if you want an exterior facade of a basic residential house, the difference from one project to another is not significant.
For this reason, rendering companies usually charge a more or less flat fee for all these rendering styles.
Scalable price per image: often, the cost of rendering 1 image is slightly higher per image than if you choose to purchase multiple images. The reason for this is that the initial setup for 1 rendering can be quite intensive. Once this setup is complete, the rendering process becomes much more manageable.

2.) PRICE PER PROJECT / PER SCENE
This type of pricing is more typical for large-scale 3D rendering projects that include several different elements, such as web design, animation, 3D floor plans and multiple rendered images.
When getting a quote for a large-scale project, you should look for a volume discount. Do not expect a big discount for 3 infographics, since especially in the case of studios large volume projects are usually from 10 images + other complementary services.
In the case of hiring freelancers (independent professionals) it is usually from 4/5 images that you can get some kind of discount more or less noticeable.
