Distance, salt, and the Epicon towers

On the Gulf of Aqaba, The Last Objects approaches Epicon through the experience of distance. The towers are never revealed at once; they emerge as two uncertain planes between sea haze, desert heat, and imperfect reflections in weathered metal.

NoName’s intervention develops a washed local-aggregate base that partly disappears into the sand and accepts occasional seawater inundation. Tyre tracks, salt deposits, shallow water, and dust-covered glass replace the pristine resort image with a landscape exposed to use and climate.

The sequence moves between extreme distance, an arrival seen through a dirty windscreen, beach-level views, and details of corrosion and accumulation. It explores how visualization can communicate towers, branded residences, and large-scale hospitality without separating the architectural object from its territory.

Epicon is the reference architecture, designed by 10 Design for NEOM. The base and visual sequence shown here are an independent hypothesis by NoName Architecture.
